'Water fires up your metabolism, gives your brain fuel and helps your body flush out toxins,' she advises.
Your body is playing 'catch up' breaking down toxins and extracting nutrients, and a large glass of water can help kick-start this process.
But, don't worry, that doesn't mean you have to completely give up the caffeine – you can still enjoy your brew afterwards.
Just make sure you continue drinking enough water to balance out coffee and tea's dehydrating effects.'
